Montine E. Willard, 83, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. Born October 2, 1931 in Eastman, Georgia, she had lived in Savannah since 1965. She was a member of the Coastal Cathedral Church of God and was a home maker.
Mrs. Willard is survived by her children, Charles G. Willard, Jr. (Teresa), Brenda A., McLean (Jim), Angela Colquitt (Rusty), and Glen L. Willard (Liane); a brother, Obie Evans; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles G. Willard, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West. In lieu of flowers the family suggests remembrances to The Living Vine, 535 East 54th St., Savannah, GA 31405.
